VERNISSAGE 2024

Attention all personnel! Whether you are a space cadet, a seasoned veteran, or a first-time visitor, we urge you to help complete this crucial mission: You must attend the 2024 graphic and web design vernissage! The countdown has already started! This phenomenon will only happen once in your lifetime, so you better not miss it! There’s no time to waste, you must start your journey to the John Abbott agora. Hopefully, you’ll be able to get there on time. We expect to see you there on April 10 from 1700-1900 hours (or if you’re a newbie to military time, that’s from 5 PM to 7 PM). Get to your spaceships and blast off to discover new sights!

At the vernissage, you’ll see all the hard work the graduating class put into their projects during their time at John Abbott College. We’ll be displaying our best work. You don’t want to miss it! There’ll be illustrations, packaging, web design, magazines, print layouts, stickers, and lots and lots of creativity! 

Anyone is welcome to pop in and we will be offering wine and cheese for those who would like a little snack. You’ll be able to speak to the third-years and get to know more about their projects. Don’t be shy to say hi, we’re all very nice.

I’m very grateful to my teachers and classmates, my time at John Abbott College has been incredible. I’ve made some new friends and learned so much. I now know how to assemble documents in InDesign, edit photos, create videos, make good design choices, create clear layouts, code websites and much much more! I’ve also evolved as a person, I’m more comfortable speaking up and sharing my ideas with others. I’ve also come to discover my personal style when it comes to creating. I love to use bright colours and have cute animals in my projects. It makes them so much more fun to accomplish!
